WHAT’S TO LOVE ABOUT BALLROOM DANCING?
Ballet, tap and jazz lessons are ubiquitous in northern Utah and all over the U.S., as they should be, since these fundamental forms of dance help kids learn the basics they need to excel at dance. But ballroom dancing is different — it’s more of a niche style of dance that stands out on your kids’ resumes when they’re looking to get into a good college.

What sets ballroom dancing apart from the recitals most of us have been to at one time or another over the years is that it’s partner dancing. Partner dancing requires an entirely different set of skills than the aforementioned disciplines, including learning how to work closely with others, anticipate their moves and execute complex dances flawlessly.

But our students from Eagle Mountain and the surrounding areas love ballroom dance lessons because they’re so much fun! Moving your body feels good, and doing it in time to music and learning to master specific techniques and steps is incredibly rewarding for our students.
ARE BALLROOM DANCING CLASSES RIGHT FOR YOUR CHILD?
You may have struggled to find an activity your child was excited about. Maybe tennis lessons didn’t take, musical instruments aren’t their thing and they aren’t interested in art or science clubs. It’s OK — we understand perfectly. We are used to seeing children arrive, wondering what ballroom dance classes are all about, only to grow to love their ballroom lessons dearly. Many of our students think of our studio as their second home.Â
e they belong somewhere, and sometimes the place they belong is at ballroom dance classes. At our ballroom dance studio, children get needed exercise while they learn coordination, grace and technique — all of which helps build their self-confidence.
BALLROOM DANCE TEAM FOR KIDS
For those dancers who love to compete, we offer ballroom dance team. Our ballroom dance team is extremely competitive and by audition only. If you think your child is interested in auditioning for our ballroom dance team, talk to our teachers about preparing for the audition.

Ballroom dance team members love stepping into the spotlight in their stunning costumes and showing off the moves they have been practicing all season. It’s a fabulous feeling to take home a medal, ribbon or trophy as a testament to all the hard work our dancers put into their craft.
